About Felicia Brooks

Hi there!
A quick bit about me – I was blessed to be born and raised in a few different towns in West Michigan. I spent most of my High School years in Byron Center, but then moved to Middleville where I graduated from TK High School in 2011. My husband, Scott, and I share one beautiful baby, Eva and two fur babies Gemma and Sevy. We are avid adventurers, we love to travel and see different parts of the world – along with being outdoors. But let’s go back a little bit in time…
After graduating I went to Kellogg Community College where I ”knew” I wanted to work in the medical field. Three years of college and changing my path of studies more than twice, I quickly figured out I did not know what I wanted to do. Fast forward through a couple of jobs, owning my own successful dog boarding business, I felt lost. I had such a huge desire to help others, I needed a career that fueled my passion to help and to impact the lives of others.
My husband and I purchased our first home in 2014. I remember the process being so exciting, nerve wracking, and exhausting – Kristy, our agent, had the impossible job of managing our emotions, keeping us calm, and negotiating to get us our dream home. Our first purchase was not ideal, we had a challenging property and the whole buying process intrigued me. It was then, I had a ”lightbulb,” moment and thought, ”maybe, just maybe, this is what I’m supposed to do for a career.” The rest is history.
I joined a real estate team in 2016, and spent two and a half years working behind the scenes as a licensed assistant. I absolutely loved it. I supported, and coached clients through the listing and buying process – I created and managed schedules, I received vast training on purchase/ listing contracts, and I poured my heart and soul into each and every client I had the pleasure to work with. I felt purposeful, and my cup was filled everyday. I eventually decided to leave the office and become a full time agent!
I don’t take a real estate transaction lightly there are so many detailed steps, and pieces to a transaction that need special attention. I strive to fully educate and understand each and everyone of my clients – each client comes with a different circumstance, a different story, and a different “why,” for what they’re trying to achieve. My innate ability to listen and understand each client, enables me to exceed in finding the absolute perfect home for them – or in some cases listing their home to start a new chapter of their lives. I understand a home sale or purchase can be one of the biggest decisions in one’s lifetime, and I aim to make the process as seamless and as fun as possible. I can promise that we will reach challenges, but with my previous hands on experience – it has equipped me with the ability to come up with creative solutions to achieve the end goal of home ownership!
